On Wednesday, 19 August 2015, the UK Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) will host the seminar ‘What is Regulation 38 and why should I care?
The seminar will provide a clear understanding of who is responsible under Regulation 38 to ensure the right fire safety information is handed over to the ‘responsible person’ at the completion of a project or, when a building or extension is first occupied. Further explanation will also be provided on what information is to be included in the fire safety information pack to ensure the ‘responsible person’ can operate and maintain the building safely.
The seminar will be at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service Training and Development Centre on Thompson Street in Manchester from 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
It is a must attend for architects, contractors and fire risk assessors in the Greater Manchester area. Andrew Foolkes, who is a member of the SFPE Executive Committee, will be attending on behalf of Tenos.
They are expecting a large turnout for this event, so early booking is advised.
