Fire Safety Engineering is the application of scientific and engineering principles to the built environment to protect people, property and the environment from the destructive effects of smoke and fire.
As well as joining an industry with a strong social purpose, fire engineering allows you to develop your engineering skills whilst helping our clients to achieve their creative vision.

No two days as a fire engineer are ever the same. A career at Tenos means you will get to be involved in a wide variety of fire engineering projects from day one. You will have the opportunity to broaden your skill set and develop specialisms in line with your interests. You will get the opportunity to work with prominent clients to generate and evaluate innovative fire solution strategies. You will also create programs of work; attend site visits and assist with the implementation of quality control procedures. Our mentoring and development programme will focus on developing your competencies to achieve chartered engineer status.
