Andrew Foolkes to speak at RICS Building Control Conference 2015

Tenos Fire Engineer, Andrew Foolkes has been invited to present at the RICS Building Control Conference 2015 in Birmingham on 22 September, 2015. He will be presenting a seminar on the subject ‘Fire engineering – the way forward’.

The Building Control Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Birmingham City Centre. The conference will provide an essential update for building control professionals and practitioners on fire engineering, planning permission, housing standards, building regulation changes, and consideration and options for space use, energy, safety and design.

In his presentation, Andrew, a Chartered Surveyor and Member of RICS, will discuss the way forward for the fire engineering industry by addressing the following key issues:

  • Fire safety from a design perspective
     
  • Project team integration
     
  • CDM regulations and building control
