Role overview
As an Associate Director your established experience in both fire engineering and team leadership will ensure successful management of larger projects and a team of Engineers. Your expertise and credibility will feed into the strategic direction of Tenos.

- External: Clients and client design team, enforcing authorities
- Internal: People and Planning Manager, directors, managers and technical colleagues
Essential Skills and Experience
- Professional registration with Engineering Council through the IFE (or with another Professional Engineering Institution) as a Chartered Engineer
- Completed and passed Expert Witness qualification
- Recognised as a credible fire expert within the industry
- Able to forge new client relationships
- Able to manage and lead a team of Engineers
Key Responsibilities
- Team performance management
- Keep self and team up to date with industry findings, emerging regulation
- Participates in the strategic development of the Tenos through internal leadership activities and external business development
- Attract new clients to Tenos
- CPD
- Manage time responsibly
- Adapt and be flexible to the needs of the business
- Ensure your own well-being
- Comply with the IFEs Code of Professional Conduct
- Work within Tenos quality control standards and procedures
