The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) places a legal responsibility on employers to train their staff in case of fire. This responsibility is in addition to an employer’s general duty of care to prevent injury to any person or employee under general Health & Safety legislation.
It is imperative that any training fully aligns with a company’s overall fire safety management and emergency plans. These plans must be fully communicated and implemented throughout an organisation. In addition, nominated responsible and competent persons should be fully aware of their roles and duties within the management plan.
Relevant authorities may wish to see proof of your training efforts by examining your records.
Tenos IFE certified training ensures an appropriate level of knowledge and awareness, and can be provided both in e-learning and face to face to formats.
